Obituary of Teresa R. Hinchcliffe

Rochester: Teresa Hinchcliffe, Friday May 19, 2017 at the age of 82. Teresa is pre-deceased by her sister Grace, brother Tom and sister-in-law Gertrude.

She is survived by her husband Richard, their son Michael and his spouse Eric; her brother Sam and his wife Mary; her niece Ann Marie with her daughters Maya and Emma; her nephew Sam and wife Natalie with their daughter Ania.

She is also survived by her brother-in-law Charles and Kathy with his sons, Daniel and Shanon and their children, Levi, Eli, Wyatt, Hayes, and David and Naomi; by brother-in-law William and his wife CoraLea with their sons, Craig and Kate North Schaefer with his children Anna, Lilly, Ella, and Curt and his wife Bonnie with their children, Jack, Kylie, Kegan; by Gertrude's children Kathleen ("favorite niece") Denaro and Keith Krupcznski with her daughter Isabella, and Michelle and her husband Jessie Ratcliffe with their children Henry and Landen; by brother-in-law Joseph with his daughter Amie; and by her Scorsone and LaBarbera cousins and their children. She is also survived by many dear and loving friends.

Teresa was born to Rose and Mike Scorsone in Mt. Morris, NY. Throughout her working life she greeted many with her warm smile as a secretary at Armour Meats, at St. Philip Neri School, and at the Catholic Diocese of Rochester. Before marriage she loved to bowl with her sister and many friends. At St. Philip Neri Church she became involved in many projects, fund raising events, the folk group and couple's club. At Christ the King Church she continued her activity and music ministry with the folk group.

In lieu of flowers, for those able, please donate blood to your local Red Cross.

After a private burial service, a mass to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 am on 5/23 at St. Kateri, 445 Kings Highway South in Irondequoit.
