Obituary of Edward J. Hahn, Jr.

HAHN, Edward J., Jr.
Rochester, NY 3 October 1929 - 23 July 2017
at age 87 after two years of treatment for lung cancer.
Predeceased by his parents Edward J. Hahn. Sr. and Dorothy Walz Hahn, brothers Robert, Gerard, Herbert, and James, sister Mary Elizabeth, sisters-in-law Rosemarie and Eileen.
Survived by his loving wife of 64 years Rosemary Leimberger Hahn, son Mark (Rachel Graber) of Vineyard Haven MA, daughters Mary (Jeffery) Hidalgo of Tucson AZ, and Kathryn; grandchildren Jeffery Shane and Dylan Hidalgo, and Samuel Graber-Hahn; sisters Virginia (Donald) Mosher, and Lorraine Hahn (Carol Clothier); sisters-in-law Shirley, Frances, Carolyn, and many Hahn and Walz family descendents.
Ed retired (1947 – 1986) from Eastman Kodak Company where he participated in research, manufacturing and marketing of Special Sensitized Photographic Products for the scientific and biomedical research communities.
The Hahn family would like to extend many thanks to the Lipson Cancer Center and to Lifetime Care Hospice for their care and comfort during and after Ed's treatment program.
Ed had many interests including playing bridge, book collecting, and the preparation of Hahn and Leimberger family genealogies.
No calling hours. Ed will be cremated and interred at White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 12 noon on Monday, August 7, 2017 at St. Ann's Chapel, 1500 Portland Avenue, followed immediately by a gathering of family and friends in the Bishop Kearney Auditorium at St. Ann's Home, 1500 Portland Avenue.
