Dear Jerry, Sue and the rest of the Bojko family I would like to say how grateful I am to have grown up next to Baba and Dido. They were amazing teachers of love, courage, and acceptance. It is truly an honor to have known them. Memories of them--and their family--will always be cherished in the memory-bank of my heart. They are both sorely missed. Blessed be, and do ba no bis pacem. Dear Sue, Jerry and family, I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your Mom and my Godmother. She is one of the kindest, sweetest women I have ever known. She was one of the many dedicated Ukrainian family members that immigrated here and built St. Josaphat's Church. When I would go to the Ukrainian Festival, I remember looking into the school kitchen door and seeing her with the other women cooking that delicious Ukie food. Take solace in knowing she is with your Dad and Brother and all the other Ukrainian friends she knew.
