Webster: Kenneth Jude Damiano, 53, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on Saturday, October 14, 2017 while visiting family in Los Angeles, California.

Ken was born May 2, 1964, in Rochester, New York. He graduated from Aquinas Institute in 1982 where he is remembered as a key player wearing number 51 on their football team. He gave his all on the field, as he did in all areas of his life. Ken's desire to further his education lead him to Utica, New York where he attended college at nearby SUNY Marcy, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business in 1988. Ken went to work for State Farm, where he enjoyed working and was a loyal, valued employee for nearly 25 years. Utica is where Ken met his perfect match Jeanne (Julian) and is where they got married in 1992. Shortly thereafter they were blessed with their two loving and adoring daughters, Breanna and Alyssa. Ken and Jeanne were in love until the day he left this world. Their love will continue on forever.

No one could have asked for a better, more loyal, and loving son, husband, father, brother or friend than Ken Damiano. Ken is predeceased by father Anthony (Nino) Damiano and survived by his mother Helen (Schembri) Damiano, brothers Chris (Tami) Damiano and Phil Damiano, whose older brother was their hero and mentor; wife, Jeanne; daughters, Breanna and Alyssa; several very close aunts and uncles, including Aunt Franny and Uncle Phil, with whom he enjoyed a special relationship, and their daughter, Diana, who was more like a sister to Ken; sisters-in-law Elaine (Roger) Burdick; Sharon Benedetto; Lori (Tom) Rycraft and brother-in-law John (Francine) Julian; and several nieces and nephews. He leaves behind many people he considered family including his lifelong friends Steve Paternico and Terrance Collins.

His family will receive friends SUNDAY 1-4 PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Friends are invited to meet the family MONDAY 10:00 AM at HOLY TRINITY CHURCH (1460 Ridge Rd.) for his funeral mass.
