I was very sorry to read that Stan passed away. I met Stan in May 1966 when I started working as a millwright apprentice at Kodak. Stan was a lead millwright. I was assigned to work as Stan's helper many times during the next year. Stan was one of the kindest, hardest working, honest people I have worked with. He was also a very talented millwright.
After a couple of weeks Stan asked who my mother and father were. After I told him, he smiled and said he had bounced me on his knee when I was a toddler. I believe that my parents were visiting relatives that lived on Peckam St. and who were friends of his.
