Dolores Marie Angie

Irondequoit: Peacefully on April 11, 2018 at the age of 81. Predeceased by her childhood sweetheart and husband Tom, who passed away 37 years ago on the same day. She is survived by her sisters, Josephine Funk and Julia Ciminelli; her daughter, Joanne (Bob) Walton; sons, David (Rosalie) Angie and Thomas (Christine) Angie; grandchildren, Jason (Thu) Leone, Bill (April) Walton, Rebecca (Alfredo) LaDere, Gina (Stephen) Grimm, Julieann, Amanda and David Angie; great grandchildren, Amber, Bianca, Lucas and Bayne; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dolores had a wonderful, full life with a husband who she adored and who adored her, and with children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who she loved and who loved her deeply. She enjoyed playing competitive scrabble with her sisters and was always up for get-togethers, pool parties, bon fires, cards and games. She was a square dancer and a camper. Her artistry showed in her ceramics and homemade gifts. She loved her pets. She always spoke up for the underdog! Dolores was outgoing with a good sense of humor, and we all will miss her dearly.

Her family will receive friends Sunday 4-7pm at the Harris Family Center (located behind the funeral home, 560 Kings Hwy S.) Please join the family for her funeral Mass, Monday 10:00am at Holy Apostles Church. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
