Dear Lydia and Rebecca, We loved your mom so much. She gave my Becki piano lessons for several years, and I also knew her in the AGO and Monday Musical Club. We all admired her musicianship and she was a valued colleague. I remember so well the surprise party Don gave her one birthday, and I've kept his recipe for veggie pie ever since. Dear Rebecca and Lydia, Fred and I remember Jean and Don with great fondness from our 26 years in Voorheesville. Fred loved singing in the choir at the local church when Jean was the director. She was an incredible musician and a lovely person. Ironically, I mentioned Don to our family on a vacation in the Bahamas last Tuesday. While eating chicken pot pie, I remembered Don introducing me to his homemade pie, the best I've ever had. We know you and your families will have wonderful memories of your fine parents.
