Irondequoit: Laura died peacefully in her sleep Thursday, August 23rd, 2018 at her home in Irondequoit. Before her retirement in 1994 she had been an employee of Pittsford Central School District for more than 20 years. She was an avid bridge player who also loved watching football (especially the Buffalo Bills), and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Proceeding her in death were her husband Arthur, two brothers, Leonard (Butch), Edward, and a sister, Charlotte. Surviving her are two children and their spouses, Lynn (Joe) FRITZ and Bruce (Deirdre) ALPHENAAR, along with two grandchildren Anna and Dylan. In lieu of any memorial gifts, please make donations to the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA.org).
