Obituary of Joseph M. Bovenzi

Webster: Saturday, November 24, 2018 at age 104. Predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Mary Irene and his niece, Sr. Marie Concepta Branca, SSJ. Survived by sons John (Catherine), Mark (Marcia), Michael (Susan), Lawrence (Marjorie), and Paul (Kristine) Bovenzi, 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren (3 of whom are still on the way). He retired from Rochester Telephone Co. in 1977. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at St. Ann's Community Cherry Ridge campus and the Leo Center for Caring for the extraordinary care given to him in his final months. Friends may call Friday, Nov. 30, 3-7 pm at the Harris Funeral Home, 570 Kings Highway S. (corner at Titus Ave.). Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday Dec. 1 at 10:00 am at Peace of Christ Parish, St. James Church, 130 Brett Rd., Irondequoit. Internment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
