Obituary of Milton C. Shares

Shares, Milton C. Irondequoit: Milton C. Shares died peacefully on November 29, 2018 at age 87. Milt is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Karyl (Briggs) Shares; son Jonathan "JB" (Joan) Shares of Penfield, daughter Pamela Shares. Grandchildren: Jonathan Shares (Mandy) of Denver, CO and Courtney Lynch (Peter) of NYC. Brother, David Shares; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Floyd Shares (Rita), sister-in-law, Carol Greenauer Shares. Milt proudly served the US Airforce during the Korean War. He was a man of many talents & shared them with everyone. He was a longtime business owner in Rochester, a SCUBA instructor for over 30 yrs, enjoyed singing with The Songsters and Summerville Presbyterian Church choir. Milt loved his family, his friends, his community and his country. His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Summerville Presbyterian Church, 4835 St. Paul Blvd in Rochester. A celebration of Milt's life will follow in the Friendship Hall where friends and family are encouraged to share their favorite "Milt" story. The family would like to thank Dr. Geoffrey G.
