To my Aunt Betty and my cousins, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a very nice man. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Somehow, I think the loss of a dad with his daughters is undeniably the most sad. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you or if you need anything. I love you guys. Love, Kate

Dear Betty,
I am so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I wanted you to know that after all these years, I often think of all the good times we all had together - the trips to the Poconos, Our Lady of Lourdes dances and of course, our card club! I always thought you two were the perfect couple.
God Bless You and may he rest in peace.
Love,
Mil Gleason and family

To the Jenny family,
Although I did not know your dad and husband, I have had the pleasure of knowing one of his delightful children - Carol! Her warm and kind nature are surely a reflection of the loving kindness shown by a gentle father throughout her life's journey with him.
Please accept my sincere thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. Somewhere a great man and father is looking down on his loving family. May you hold him in your hearts and celebrate always the gift of his being!
Peace and blessings,
Susan Koehler

Patricia Scalise posted a condolence
Dear Mrs. Jenny and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the occasion of your husband/father's passing.
In the midst of all of you, he always projected such an air of gentle authority and contentment. Observing even as a child, it was evident that he was a very happy man. I am sure that his life was well spent and certainly that is such a blessing. May he enjoy eternal rest and may your sweet memories comfort you all.

Jerome was such a favorite of Mom and Pop's and all of ours. We looked forward to Betty & Jerome's visits when they were enroute to NYC. Later the folks treasured their winter escapes to Fl to be with Betty & Jerome. Their trip to Madrid in 1963 where I was studying brought a gift of "home and family." Wonderful memories of a wonderful man. Peace, Anne

Claire Jenny posted a condolence
I wish to express my sympathy to my aunt Betty and all my cousins. Uncle Jerome was a very special man, my father was his oldest brother, but it was Jerome that offered support to my father Oscar many times over the years. I remember many times that he would call or come over whenever my father needed him. There were many difficult times when he was there for not only my dad , but all of us. He was there to share in many happy times over the years as well, and I will cherish all of these memories. In this sad time I hope it brings comfort to know that the Jenny brothers are reunited in heaven.
God bless all of you,
Love,
Claire

We both send our sympathy to all the Jenny family, but especially to Tom. If a son is a measure of his father, then Jerome must have been a wonderful person. He will remain in your hearts and minds.

Jerome was a great husband, father and uncle. As in the line "silent waters run deep" this mild mannered guy was a courageous and highly decorated veteran of WWII. Never heard it from him, though, and that tells you all you need to know. RIP and God speed. All the best to the family.

Dear Tom and Jan,
I am sorry for the delay of this expression of sympathy. We were very saddened to hear of the death of Tom’s father, and touched by the loving messages, left by his family.
I hope that your mother is coping with her terrible loss; don’t know how anyone manages to do that. The better the marriage, the greater the loss.
Fondly,
Joan and John Simpson

As an old neighbor and friend of Barbara and Paul, I was lucky to spend more than a few times with Mr. and Mrs. Jenny. I am sorry for your loss, and for the grief you will all go through missing him. I value experiencing his sense of fun. His eyes would actually sparkle when telling, or playing a joke. And I value the great faith he passed on to all of you I'm sure, but espcially to my Gesu partner who trucks out at night with me for the retreats, the novenas, the rosaries, all good things Catholic. But I cannot end without noting how very truly I value the afternoon we visited while Paul and Barb were still at work and he shared with me his gift of a well made Mahattan. Maybe two!
Slainte Mr. Jenny.
