My sincere condolences go to the family at this trying time. There are scripture passages that comfort me greatly that I would like to share. Isaiah 25:8 tells of a time that God will swallow up death forever. Also, Job declared that those who have died will be resurrected to a better life. And Psalm 37:29 is God's promise that all will be able to live forever in His restored paradise. May God’s peace and comfort be yours. ( Isaiah 26:4).

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to see a special family member (and dear friend) succumb to advanced age and sickness. I have personally found comfort in the words at Acts 24:15 where we are assured, "there is going to be a resurrection", and that soon God will "wipe out every tear" from our eyes. (Rev. 21:4) I'm also looking forward to seeing the fulfillment of Psalm 92:14, "Even in old age they will still be thriving; They will remain vigorous and fresh". You have my sincere condolences while we patiently wait for that day.
