Obituary of Maria Syplywyj

Syplywyj, Maria Irondequoit: Friday, February 15, 2019 at age 89. Predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Stepan; sisters, Sonia Weaver and Anna Sochockyj. Maria is survived by her daughter, Luba (Ed) Trouerbach; lovingly known as "Baba" to her granddaughters, Andrea (Felix), Denise (Josh), Kayla, Vanessa; 5 great-grandchildren, Francesca, Archer, Feliciano, Amariana, Lincoln; sisters, Parania (Frederick) Smith, Kathryn Pukyrys; brother, John Yakymyszyn; nieces and nephews, Stephania, Vera, Tania, Mark, Nadia. Maria was a lifelong Parishioner of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of Epiphany, and member of the Ukrainian Women's League. Her family will receive friends Tuesday, February 19, 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), (Panachyda 6:30pm). Her Divine Liturgy will be held Wednesday, February 20, 10:00am at Ukrainian Catholic Church Of Epiphany. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
