To my extended Reiiter clan and his step family with his late wife Raissa: I feel very fortunate to know have known your Dad and proud to know he was one of the "Greatest Generation" who served in WWII. His dry wit and gentlemanly manner impressed me as well. I felt fortunate as well to also have met his wife lovely Raissa. A tear comes on when at a family gathering they spoke their appreciation of my serving this great country knowing he served in the (hopefully) last major war that saved the entire world from the deadly darkness of Fascism.. My apologies for my not being present sharing in your memorializing of his passing but I wish honor his life by saying....Semper Fi.
