Struble, June R. (Koch)
Rochester. Called home to the Lord, Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the age of 89. She leaves her sons, Michael J. Struble and Joseph R. Struble. She is also survived by her sister-in law & friend, Mrs. Teresa Koch and sister & brother-in-law, Mr. & Mrs Albert Traugott, lifelong friend Mrs. Evelyn Tomkin, several first cousins, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, including Ella June Dony.
She was a 1938 graduate of Nazareth Academy and after the satisfaction of a life as wife and mother; she worked for many years as a teacher's aide at Rochester Children's Nursery, and after retirement as a volunteer at Strong Memorial Hospital in the Pediatric Unit. She attended daily Mass all her life, first at Holy Redeemer Church, later, St. Boniface Church and Our Lady of Victory Church and at the end of her life, at St. Ann's Chapel at the Heritage where she had been residing since the autumn of 2006.
Flowers, Mass cards or contributions to any of the above organizations are suggested to honor her memory and to comfort those who survive her.
Her family will receive friends Sunday 2-5 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Monday 9:00am at St. Ann's Home Chapel for her funeral mass. Interment private Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
