Growing up in Churchville, everyone in our close circle of friends knew Amy's Nana. She was the most energetic, vibrant, and young-at-heart grandmothers I knew. She was so cool and funny and always had us laughing, even at the expense of embarrassing Amy at times. I will never forget our junior year of high school when she, along with Lesley Northrop's mom Jane, volunteered to drive 5 of us to Myrtle Beach for Spring Break! We were packed in two cars and made the 13 hour trip over two days stopping every so often for a break and to eat some of Nana's fried chicken (the best I've ever had). It was your typical Spring Break week although we had the luxury of staying in a really nice condo versus a run down motel and we had Nana to tell us stories and make us laugh. I'm really thankful she drove us down, and that she could be part of one of my most cherished memories from high school. Thank you Amy for sharing her with us. Love, Mary

Dear Karen, Jackie. Jill, Michael and all of Aunt Bobbie’s Family, my sincere condolences. I just found out that she had passed this Wednesday. Karen, Jackie, Jill & Michael, my deepest sympathies go out to you and yours. Bobby was the best,. She's now at Eddy's side with Frank & Lois Ricker, and Bob DiNeri. Your mom was the greatest, always had smile. She was the first one my mom (Lois Ricker) would call, if & when something went down, and your mom would be there in seconds. As you know Lois & Bobby had been friends since kindergarten. If mom and I didn't have any plans, we'd drive out to Irondequoit, pick your mom up and head to the lake for a hot dog. I still remember the parties at her Irondequoit home, and going to her cottage. She even got my dad on the Farriswheel at the county Fair... She'd always drop in when she was in Henrietta.
