Obituary of Betty M Huber
Huber, Betty M.
Rochester: Born December 15,1928 and went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday October 24. 2019 at the age of 90. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Edwin Gordon Huber, her son Richard Gordon Huber and her granddaughter Holly Jo Oneill.
Her greatest joys were being married to her high school sweetheart, being a mom to Beth Ann and Rick, a Grandma to 7, and a Great Grandma to 15 grand babies. Some of the best years of Betty's life we're living on Sodus Bay, gardening, volunteering for the community, and being a consummate hostess. Betty loved her family and was thankful for her 6 siblings, of whom she was the youngest. She grew up in Rochester and met her sweetheart and husband Edwin Huber while attending Franklin high school.
Edwin loved to spoil her and she adored him! She took advantage of any opportunity she had to hit the dance floor with Ed. Together they waltzed through life seeking out opportunities to be on the water, visit lighthouses, dance to Frank Sinatra, and be with friends and family.
Christmas Eve was one of her families fondest memories. From her Minestrone soup to her laughing over the orange lipstick that circled the family each year. Her laugh was contagious and she had a great sense of humor.
Your life was spent well in investing in everyone around you. We were so blessed to have you and will carry the treasure chest of memories with us always.
Betty's family will receive friends Saturday, November 9, 11:00am - 1:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where her funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
