June 2, 2020 Gary and I were next door neighbors and best friends on Meadow Lane in the late 1950''s 60's. Spent countless hours on the Bay and in the surrounding woods, summer and winter - many ice boats. Raced across the Bay at 60 or 70 miles per hour only with the light of the moon in the dead of winter. Went so fast with strong winds one of us had to sit at the front of the ice boat to stop the steering blade from skidding sideways. Many others involved from Meadow Lane and elsewhere.
