Robert C. Marino, Ed.D. Bob Marino passed away at the age of 69 on March 12, 2020 after battling pancreatic cancer with strength and an amazing attitude. He is predeceased by his parents Samuel and Josephine Marino. Bob is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda (Whitmore) Marino, his brother Frank (Christine) Marino, nephews Todd (Amy) Marino, Anthony (Michelle) Marino, Brandon Whitmore and nieces Diana Marino, Melissa (Michael) Nardolillo, Rebecca (Ryan) O'Connor as well as great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins and many dear friends. Bob also leaves his extended family; Shirley Mereau, Christopher Mereau, Melanie (Todd) Grieve-Beal, Michelle (Anthony) Murphy, Matthew (Samantha) Mereau and their families. A special thank you goes to the Oncology team headed by Dr. Jason Zittel for their exceptional care and compassion as well as the support team from Lifetime Hospice. Bob's life will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Pittsford, New York. Entombment will be at White Haven Memorial Park. Those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so to either the Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong Memorial Hospital or Lifetime Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Philip F. Profetta. In light of the growing concerns surrounding the Corona virus, Linda encourages those with any concerns to avoid attending services.
