Becker, Harriet Lorraine Legler Ontario: Lorraine left us very peacefully on March 29, 2020 at the age of 100-&-1/2 years “FOREVER YOUNG”. She is predeceased by her parents Arva Blanche & Arthur, her husband John & her granddaughter Lisa. Lorraine is survived by countless friends & her children Dorothy (Robert) Pigott, John, Barbara (Dick) Bobowski, Mary Clark, Judith Garvie Anderson, & Lawrence (Linda). And her cousin Paula Leonard James. Also cherishing the memory & love of their Gram, Grammy, GMa, GGMa & GGGMa are: Margaret (Jerry); Ann & Michael (Indira); Theresa (Jeffrey); Christine; Matthew; Amy (Steven), Sarah & Christopher; Daniel (Lulu); Aaron; Jon & Michael; Allyn; Lawrence Jr & Luke; Chad; Mark; Katherine; Nicholas; Christopher & David; Makayla; Jonathan; Nathan, Emily & Easton; Isabella; Taegen-LORRAINE; Maritza; Charles; Emerson; Alysia-LORRAINE; Bailee; Caroline & “Baby X”. Lorraine’s life is best reflected in her never-ending interest in, and presence for, her family. Well into her late 90’s she was still living independently, an avid reader, crossword puzzle champion, plant and bird lover_ and always looking forward to another game of cards, which she never lost, just like her Mom before her. Our gratitude to Saint Ann’s Fifth Floor Staff for their loving care during Lorraine’s last months, as well as personnel from many departments, especially Chaplains and Pastoral Care. Also, Lifetime Care Hospice. Masks will be required at church. Thank you. Funeral Mass Saturday, July 25th at 10 am at St Maximillian Church. Interment Lake View Cemetery. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, LORRAINE’S WISHES ARE THAT WE “BE GOOD TO EACH OTHER.” You may also wish to consider a donation to St. Ann’s Nursing Home, or to the Sisters of Mercy Retirement Fund.
