Gerald A. "Jerry" Snell Irondequoit – Gerald A. "Jerry' Snell, 97 – passed away peacefully on April 26, 2020. He is predeceased by his wife, Rita and son, Richard. He is survived by daughters, Carol Cannan, Beverly Burns (Robert) and Peggy Rawcliffe (George). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Jerry was a WW II veteran and had a long-time career with IBM. He had many hobbies such as watching the stock market, gardening, antiques and vintage clock repair, but his real passion was his family. He dearly loved his family and they adored him. A special appreciation and thank you goes out to the staff on the 9th floor of St. Ann's Community and the Wegman Care Center 2nd floor. Thank you for your loving care of Jerry. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry's memory can be made to St Ann's Community, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621 or Open Door Mission, 156 Plymouth Avenue, #1834, Rochester, NY 14608. Services will be held privately. Interment at Irondequoit Cemetery.
