Koss, Roman Jonathan Tuesday, May 13th, 2020. Aged 70 of natural causes. He is survived by his wife Nadiya Koss, daughter Lana (Justin Yager) Koss, and his son Richard (Colleen) Koss, step-son Sasha (Alina) Pushnin, grandchildren Nova Hoskins, Ivy Hoskins, Johnathan Koss, Vitalii Pushnin and Volodya Pushnin his sister Irene (David Foster) Kosciuk, brother-in-law George Petrashko, niece and nephews, Michael Petrashko, Daniel Foster, Jeffrey Foster, Romana Petrashko, and Timothy Foster. Also his lifelong friend Milton Trousercough. He is predeceased by his father Michael Kosciuk who was born Roman Postolovskyj in Jesupol, Ukraine. His mother Olimpia Cymbalista who was born in Pukow, Ukraine. Both emigrated to Rochester in 1948. His sister Christine Petrashko, his paternal grandparents Iwan Postolovskyj, Rosalia Martinec both of Ukraine, his maternal grandparents John Cymbalista of Ukraine and Kateryna Kostiew who emigrated to Rochester from Ukraine. Born in Rochester he spent most of his life in the area. He started and ran several businesses in the area most notably New York Truck Exchange in 1979. He will be remembered as a kind man with a gentle heart who had an amazing sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He was always the life of the party and will be greatly missed. Services will be held privately.
