Fix, Betty Jean Irondequoit: Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at age 94. Born on a farm November 9, 1925 in Osmond, Nebraska to William Kroupa and Mary Synovec Kroupa. Survived by her husband of 74 years, Delbert Fix; children, Susan Stein (Gary), Douglas Fix (Desiree), William Fix (Stephanie), Nancy McCloskey (Michael) of Wake Forest, NC; grandchildren, Gregory Fix (Meghan), Tori, Michael and Conner McCloskey; brother, William (Bev) Kroupa of Piece, NE; sister, Marianne Gettman of Norfolk, NE and many nieces, nephews and friends. Jean was a woman of love, faith, kindness and humor. She was a fantastic cook and baker, gardener and bridge player. She loved walking until Parkinson's Disease took over. Jean was a breast cancer survivor. Her memberships included PEO, Eastern Star Century Club and was a 50 year member of the Summerville Presbyterian Church. Jean's family would like to thank the staff at the Highlands Living Center for her care. Services will be held privately.
