Obituary of Kathleen Mary Schlachter

Kathleen Schlachter, Irondequoit: passed away on June 17th, 2020 at age 66, after an extended illness. Survived by her loving sister Carol Corlett, nephews Brian (Tony Palos) Corlett, Mark (Marybeth) DeRoller, Matthew (Julie) DeRoller, Scott Corlett, Bill (Marilyn) MacGovern, great nephews Kevin Palos, Alex, Ethan, Zachary and Eric DeRoller, great nieces Phoebe and Jenna DeRoller, Taylor and Nicole Corlett, great-great niece Olivia Grace Palos and beloved pet and companion McGee. Predeceased by husband of 35 years Peter Schlachter, parents Wilbur and Martha Ellis, sisters Pat MacGovern and Laurie Ellis and niece Linda MacGovern. Kathleen was a beloved sister, aunt and friend who left this earth much too soon. Kathleen enjoyed gardening, antiquing, cooking and being around family and friends. Many thanks to Dr. Bernard and Mrs. Catherine Plansky for their loving care. Special thanks as well to the staff at RGH who helped to make Kathleen's transition as peaceful as possible. Their care and support to family and friends at the end was truly appreciated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in her name can be made to Lollypop Farm.
