Obituary of Shaun C. Morrison

Morrison, Shaun Carter Irondequoit: Saturday, October 17, 2020 at age 37. Predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Powell and Carol "MAMA" Carter and his paternal grandparents, Arnold and Kathleen Morrison. Shaun is survived by his mother, Patti Carter-Morrison; father, John (Dolores) Morrison; aunts, Diane Sciarabba, Sheila Weissinger and cousins, John, Jason (Bernie) Sciarabba, Mark, David and Scott Weissinger; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his canine companion, Wrigley. Shaun was a long-time resident of Irondequoit. He attended West Irondequoit High School where he played Golf and Ice Hockey. He attended the University of Delaware where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree. Shaun furthered his education at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Ill receiving the Juris Doctorate Degree. He passed the New York State Bar in 2010. He was the sole practitioner of his law firm in Palmyra, NY. Shaun had a passion for golf, winning multiple awards. His greatest victory was winning the RDGA. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame football and the Buffalo Bills. In adhering to state requirements, all guests are required to wear face masks. Upon entering the building guests will also be asked to use hand sanitizer. Thank you. His family will receive friends Friday, October 23, 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Saturday, October 24, at 9:30 AM at St. Kateri at Christ The King Church for his funeral mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sunset House, 3746 St. Paul Blvd., Rochester, NY 14617. Due to COVID-19 the family will plan a celebration of life at a later date.
