Rochester, NY: Died Wednesday November 11, 2020 at age 89. Survived by her cherished relatives and close friends.Predeceased by her only child and beloved son, John I. Fish III. Daughter of the late Agnes and Harry Wieczokek, she graduated from Nazareth Academy and Syracuse University with a degree in journalism. Katherine was a reporter in the features department of the Democrat and Chronicle for 26 years, retiring in 1987.

Katherine enjoyed travels around the world and USA with friends, family and two World War II English pen pals. She was fond of gardening, reading of novels and newspapers, walking, shopping craft sales, dining out and family holiday parties.

Family and friends are asked to come to her funeral mass on Saturday, November 14th 11:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 1124 Hudson Avenue. Interment following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be made to her church, the Sisters of St. Joseph, Lipson Cancer Center at Rochester General Hospital, or charity of choice.
