Irondequoit:With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our Wonder Woman Mom on Monday, November 16, 2020 at age 92. She loved and cherished her marriage to her husband, the late John Fencur and their children Jane, Christine (Jude) and John R. (Deceased). Our cutie enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and canning, and had a nack for arranging flowers. Our fond memories of Mom include lipstick, perfume, ice cream and endless card playing with friends and family. We will forever remember her strength, courage and sparkling blue eyes. Mom will be deeply missed and is now resting in peace.
Services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joan’s name may be directed to National Kidney Foundation, 1344 University Avenue, Suite 270, Rochester, NY 14607.
