Please share a memory of Anthony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Passed away peacefully, at the age of 92, on Saturday, November 22, 2020, surrounded by family members at the home he shared with his daughter Kelly, and has now joined his beloved wife Lee.

Tony was born July 17, 1928 in Rochester, New York, the son of Samuel and Rose Grana, and grew up in Niagara Falls and Rochester, New York. Tony served as a teenager in the Merchant Marine and later in the United States Army military police in Europe, where he earned a World War II Victory Medal and an Army of Occupation Medal. Tony was a well-known restaurateur in Rochester for many years and owned and ran several restaurants including "Grana's," where he always treated his customers like his family.

Tony was consummate Italian patriarch: strong, loving, and always loyal. He lived his life to the fullest, often worked multiple jobs to support his family, never left a friend in need, never left a story untold, and felt that the greatest blessing in his life was his family.

He is predeceased by is wife Lois Lee ("Lee") Grana who passed away on February 11, 2015, his brother Gary, and his grandson Cody. He is survived by his children Kitty, Therese, Billy, Mary, and Kelly, his grandchildren Jennifer (Rick), Brett, Nathan, Shawn, Brooke, Samantha, Ricky, William, Anthony, his great grandchildren Bella, Mason, Vianna, Naya, and his dog Lola. He is also survived by his brothers Bob (Ann) and George (Melissa), and their children, his nieces and nephews.

Tony's Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, July 17th 11am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church.
