Dorothy Elaine Colburn

Irondequoit: Passed away peacefully, on November 26, at the age of 96. Dorothy was predeceased by her devoted husband, Donald; her daughter, Donna Spath; grandson, Andrew Spath. Survived by her son, Douglas (Margaret) Colburn; grandchildren, Robyn (Jason) MacBride, Stephen Colburn, William Spath; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Nora MacBride; son-in-law Peter Spath; nieces and nephew.

Dorothy was a strong, independent woman who loved her family. With her husband, she enjoyed Red Wings baseball games, and visiting and learning about Civil War battle sites. More recently, she enjoyed playing Barbies with her great-granddaughter, and watching her great-grandson play hockey.

A private burial will be held at Irondequoit Cemetery. Memorial donations in Dorothy's name may be directed to Golisano Children's Hospital, 300 East River Road, Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627.
