I met Mike in 1999. For more than 15 years he consistently brought a calm presence and sage advice to the monthly meetings of our Rochester-area business leaders Group. He was always there to help whenever he could. My condolences to Mike's family.

It's been at least fifty years since I set foot in that grand old house of the Dooleys'. Lots of memories. I think Mike drove me to the airport the day Brother Tracy suspended me from Bishop Kearney. I didn't like to get my hair cut. I miss the whole family and I'm sorry for your loss.

Carol, Tom, Jim, Pat, Mary and Kate: I pretty much grew up with the Dooley family, and Mike was the big brother I never really had. (I remember he was pitching on Kennedy's lot the first time I ever swung a baseball bat). While I only knew him from childhood, it is touching and gratifying to see the family man and community leader he grew to become. My sympathies to his sibs, his wife and family and all the friends he made along the way. May God hold you close.

I'm so sorry to her about Michael. I met Mike while we were members of WASDA and we also met his lovely wife Elaine. He was always helping anyone new that join WASDA and he and I hit off. He was truly missed back when he no longer joined us at meetings. I loved this guy. He, Elaine and my wife Laurie spent a day touring Washington DC and had dinners and lunchs together. It was a great trip I will never forget. I believe another organization he and I were involve with was AWWA. They held a National Convention in DC and we both brought the wife's along back in 2011. Our condolences and prayers go out to the family, friends and colleges.
