Obituary of Linda B. Fasino

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you may also be where I am." John 14:3 Linda Bolger Fasino, Saturday, January 9, 2021- not only the beautiful day you went home to be with your Savior but also the same day, 61 years ago in 1960, you married the love of your life and so began the loving and blessed journey that has become "our family". Linda Ann Bolger was born in Rochester N.Y. on October 3, 1939 to parents Irene Mura Bolger and Alfred Bolger; she was an only child. She graduated from Nazareth High School and R.I.T. She married J. Richard Fasino on January 9, 1960 and began her career as a legal secretary at Schlesinger, Fitzsimmons & Schlesinger in downtown Rochester where she worked until she started her family. Linda's many loves in this life, outside of her 6 children and many grandchildren, included fresh flowers, her gardens, Chanel #5 perfume, American and European history, reading, family photos, baking pies and cocktail parties with friends. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Joseph Richard ("Dick"), children Noelle Carvotta (Robert), Gabrielle Fasino, Andrea Morrow (James), Joseph Fasino (Asha), Joelle Marcaida (Doug) and Richard Fasino (Diane); grandchildren Daniel Martens, Andrew Martens, Zachary Martens, Julie Bielecki (Alex), Jessica Rockcastle (Kyle Garbe), James Morrow, Brynn Baldino (Ethan), Brett Morrow (Leah Mauldin), Neil ("Main Man") Masani, Sheila Xavier (Phil), Alex Fasino-Bush (Julie Purick), Douglas ("DJ") Marcaida, Jaden Marcaida, Morgan Brown (Jonathan), Skylar Dixon (Jacob) and Carly Fasino; great grandchildren A.J. Bielecki, Ryan Bielecki, Keenan Garbe, baby Baldino, Chase Mauldin, baby Morrow, Logan Xavier, Brooklyn Xavier, baby Brown; sister-in-law Mary Ellen DiMuro, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, long-time neighbors and very close friends. A special thanks to the St. Kateri Women's Bible Study Group- you were a true blessing in her life. A memorial service is being planned for late July to celebrate all that she was and all that she loved. In lieu of flowers, memorials to be directed to the ALS Association.
