We sure had a lot of fun shopping, getting our haircut together, the weekend cookouts & our special haunted hayride. You are so loved & missed. I promise to take care of Rene & Amber for you. Hey Bug! Your mom was a very special person and the Madison family was always welcoming and non - judgemental to me. Karen was everyone's big sis. She always liked to visit and know what was going on. She always had advice. She always included us. I remember several awesome chats with her and your grandma around that Kitchen table on Northrup. You are blessed and now have someone watching over you and telling God what to do in Heaven! lOVE YOU SO MUCH! Aunt Jean's friend - Biker Beth!

I have known Karen since the day I was born. She was my Grandmothers friend, then my moms best friend, and then one of my closest friends. She was always there for me and would do anything for me, for us. She was my model when I took my Cosmetology test. She gave me a place to stay when I left my boyfriend. She was always there. I will miss her phone calls, doing her hair, hearing her laughter, her voice. It is an emptiness that we will all feel. But I know she is in a better place, free of pain and stress. I will always remember her. My heart is broken. Lori (Vernille)Ortiz
