The Rochester Curling Club is a much better place because of Gail. She served on our Board, as our Treasurer, ran many an event, and most importantly showed us all how to be better curlers and people. Gail's quick wit and her ability to let us all know what she was thinking with just a look will always be remembered with love. She taught 100s to curl and was always willing to bring "rookies" along for a win. RIP Gail, your memory will live on as long as we are here

Gail was a special friend. We went to grammar school ,,high school girl scots all of the basic thing's kids do. She was a special friend always. She will be missed by all of us. Our condolences to the Short family. I retired from the now named Chase Bank sixteen years ago, but when we started working there is was Lincoln Rochester. I worked in a department at the main office for a few years and then went into the branches. My training was at East End where Gail and her side kick Sharon taught me all about the branch operations. It was a pleasure to have worked with Gail in my banking experience. Rest in peace, Gail. Wayne and Rosalie Conklin, Webster NY

Gail was my first skip at Rochester Curling Club! She encouraged me to try out other leagues and helped me develop my curling skills. I will miss her humor and seeing her at the club.
