Lorraine graduated from Corning High School in 1951 and Robert Packer School of Nursing in 1955. Lorraine lived a life of service, working as a proud and caring Nurse of over 40 years she was a consummate professional; she kept her cap starched, and her shoes blinding white! She retired from Chemung Nursing Facility but never stopped "nursing" those she knew. Her spectacular diagnostic skills will be missed.

Lorraine loved knitting, those lucky enough will cherish the mittens, socks and most prized, the Christmas Stockings she made. She also enjoyed canning her pickles and peaches and making beautiful note cards, but most of all she enjoyed her friends and family. She always found the humor in a situation and had the best laugh. She told the best stories and offered sage advice.

While we will miss her here with us, we know she was met by the long line of people she touched waiting for her in Heaven. Godspeed Mom, tell Dad hi for us, until we see you again.
