Irondequoit: Surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the age of 84. Beloved father and grandfather. Pre-deceased by his wife, Anna; granddaughter, Christine; son in law, Lawrence Bianchi. He is survived by his daughters, Olga(John) Winhaber, Cynthia Bianchi, Mary Ann and Lesia Blyszczak; granddaughter, Amy Bianchi; sister, Sophia Bilecky of CA; sisters and relatives in Ukraine. Alex was a 35 year employee of Xerox and an active member of St. Josaphats Church.
His family will receive friends SUNDAY 2-5PM at the funeral home. Panachyda 4:30PM. Friends are invited to meet the family MONDAY 10:00AM at ST. JOSAPHATS UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH for his divine liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to St. Josaphats Church, or American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
