Spindler, Paul B. age 83 of Rochester went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for all eternity on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, surrounded by his loving family after a 5 year battle with cancer. Mr. Spindler was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Rose (Strohmeyer) Spindler and a brother, Gerard Spindler.  Paul is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Suzanne Spindler, Son, David Spindler, Daughter, Annemarie (Michael) Scozzari, Son, Jeffrey (Gina) Spindler. Grandchildren, Joshua, Abby, Giana, Hannah. Brother, Ray (Joyce) Spindler. Sister, Roseanne (Richard) Lawrence. His love for family extends to cousins, nieces, nephews, church brethren, friends and neighbors. His heart and life was transformed by the amazing grace of God in 1973 as he began to follow Jesus Christ. Paul served in the US Army from 1961 to 1963. He retired from Eastman Kodak company in 1991 after 29 years. He was a member of the Rochester Birding Assoc. for 30 years. He was a Notary Public for 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved nature, enjoyed metal detecting and proudly flew the American Flag.

 

Friends are invited to meet the family on Monday, May 10, 2021 at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.) from 4 to 7 PM. A Celebration of Paul's life will be held at Christian Assembly Church, 1165 Lyell Ave. on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment will follow services at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Open Door Mission, Rochester in Paul's memory.
