Dear Aunt Connie,
I thank God for giving YOU to me to know and to love. YOU above all were very understanding of my LACK of communication (letters and calls) with you . Though you loved me so much. Though we lived many miles apart, the memories of visits many years ago are among the ones that I treasure most. I so appreciated all the details you were willing and able to "fill in" for me when we lived in Rochester as a young one. You ALWAYS answered all my questions with honesty and humor. When I would come for visits we would sometimes laugh until late into the night. One night comes to mind when we were watching some cheesy movie with a school marm . We were laughing hysterically until we committed the ULTIMATE sin, WAKING UP UNCLE!! The BEST visit by far was when I bought snails to bring home for everybody...They were DRY in the box packed in straw. I placed them in the basement until it was time to fly home.. Being DAMP in the basement ...the HUM-A-DITY(your word) caused the snails to "COME TO LIFE" crawling all over the basement stairs. You saved me from "THE LOOK" by Uncle (once again) gathering them up and getting on with tedious task of having to cook them and making sauce to freeze BEFORE I left for California. I don't think UNCLE could wait for me to go home!
You KNEW I didn't make my confirmation here in California so you checked into my making my confirmation on a two-week visit there! Always looking out for my spiritual well being!! Your GODMOTHER specialty!
By now the reunion at the PARLATO "card table" is complete.
The LORD'S table is there to welcome ALL who will TRUST and BELIEVE in HIM! Be at peace until we meet again, IN JESUS NAME!
LOVE JUNIE

Uncle Bob, cousin Bobby, Samantha, I’m so very sorry to hear of Aunt Connies passing. So many memories from her spending time with Uncle Jim and the “grown up” card games when we were little. Her smacking my dad when he would tease her and the love and care she gave to them was something I could never forget. She was very passionate beautiful and someone whom I looked up to. May she Rest In Peace. God bless you and keep you during this time.

Rest in Peace my Dear Sweet Special Favorite Aunt Connie. A second Mother to me, when I was growing up on Traver Circle, and sometimes more than 2nd. My memories are long and fresh of you all my childhood and further into adulthood. I admired you, wanted to be with you as much as possible and needed your advice and love so much. You and all that lived on 181 Traver Circle, were my sanctuary and special place to go to. I know how spoiled i was and had extra love from you all. Grandma Grandpa Uncles Freddie, Russell, Jimmy, Joey and You and sweetest Aunt Martha. I always wanted your clothes. I remember the red velvet vest that I coveted and all your clothes that you let me try on when you lived on Garson Ave. You taught me how to keep things clean and organized. I was a fanatic when I first got married. (not so much now)
When we moved to California, I missed you so much and we wrote weekly for so many many years. We planned and dreamed when you all would move to CA. Your visits were always an event I looked forward to. I'm sorry I thought you had my constitution to drink frozen daiquiris in the hot summer visit and you missed your flight home the next day. And so sorry for the other visit that I thought you had my melanin and lathered you up with cocoa butter to get that rich tan from California...AND you missed your flight home, AGAIN!
So many many memories and photos, I have them all in my Heart Aunt Con. All our laughers til we cried and all the cries and comforting's.I know you know how much I love you all my life and I know how much you loved me.
My heart is broken at the loss of you but so Happy for you to finally be at Peace, Healthy, Whole and with ALL you LOVE at that Parlato Card Table and with your Linda.
All My Love, Your Niece, Annie
