Anna (Colapietro) Spinelli

Irondequoit: Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at age 94 is predeceased by her husband, Nicola, of over 30 years of marriage; brothers Giuseppe and Michael. Anna is survived by her daughters, Maria (Victor) Ingrassia, Carmela (Antonio) Oliveri, Maria (Frank Shrout) Altieri; grandchildren, Adriana & Daniela Ingrassia, Rose Riccardi, Stephanie (Adam) Cornelius, Michelle Oliveri, Debbie Dettman, John Altieri and several great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins in Italy.

Anna immigrated from Casamassima, Bari (Italy) in 1961. She worked as a seamstress for over 40 years and retired from Hickey Freeman Clothing. She loved to cook, bake traditional focaccia bread and Italian cookies, listen to music and garden. She was passionate about her family and she also enjoyed spending time with her friends.

The family would like to acknowledge the care and support received from Kirkhaven Nursing Home and the hospice services from Lifetime Care.

Friends are invited to join the family Monday, May 24, 10:00 am at St. Kateri At Christ The King Church for her funeral mass. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. At the family's request, all guests are required to wear face masks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Highway South, Rochester, New York 14617 or Altzheimers Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
