Irondequoit: Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the age of 79. Pre-deceased by his loving wife, Roberta; parents, Andrew and Rose; grandson, Noah Passero; sister, Nancy Michalewsky. He is survived by his children, Wendy (Daniel) Passero, Daniel Yazwinski, Jean (Michael) Knapp; grandchildren, Nicholas Passero, Kelly and Ava Yazwinski, KayLee (Zach) Zielinski, and Corey Knapp; nieces and nephews, Craig (Cindy) and Scott (Suzanne) Michalewsky, Kristen (Drew) Youssef, Heather (Thomas) Scoppa, nephew, Scott (Jennifer) Jewett.

Andy graduated from Alfred University. He spent 52 years in softball as a Player, Manager, Tournament Director, Umpire League Director and Commissioner. As well as the Director of a variety of chairty softball tournaments and Special Olympic events.

Andy retired from his dream job, after 42 years, as the Program Director of the City of Rochester Slow Pitch League.

His family will receive friends Friday, July 23, 4-8pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday, July 24, 11:00 am at Trinity Communion Church (795 Winona Blvd) for his Memorial Mass. Interment private Webster Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lions Eye Bank at Rochester, 155 Corporate Woods #150, Rochester, NY 14623.
