Fond memories of visiting and getting to know June and Louis when I visited with wonderful relatives in Rochester. Great conversations with June about Hogan family history and her family's accomplishments. She spoke so lovingly and knowledgeably about her children and grandchildren's accomplishments. Many laughs over the phone over the years in conversations that would last a minimum of 60 minutes -- as they also did when my father Les (aka Sonny) spoke with June. Discussions about books and the many handwritten records June kept. Both trademarks of a person with a great heart and a terrific mind. I was in shock when I saw June's obituary in Sunday's paper. She was such a wonderful woman, full of laughter and joy and never had a mean word to say about anybody. I met June when she was a crossing guard on St. Paul Blvd. I was walking to the high school for work and we'd talk for a few minutes and then I'd hurry on to work. I always looked forward to seeing her at her post. I'd visit her at her home and she was always so joyful. She had a twinkle in her eye like the true Irish woman she was. The world was a better place with people like June in it. Rest in peace June. You were a good woman.

It has been many years since I’ve seen June or any family members. I met the family during our summers at my sister Barb Parsons when she lived in Summerville! Tony, Jackie, Richie & Donna, Your mom was the best. I have so many wonderful memories of growing up in White City and so many of them include your family.
