With profound sadness we announce the passing of Carol Rossi, our loving and devoted wife, mother, Mimi, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on September 11, 2021 at age 83.

Beloved wife of Ronald Rossi. Much loved mother of Lynda (Kevin) Rossi, Michael (Beth) Rossi, and David (Paula) Rossi. Cherished grandmother of Nicole (Jake) Jarosz, Bailey Fenton, Casey (Amit) Fenton, Evan (Meg) Rossi, Taryn Rossi, Colin Rossi, and Devin Rossi. Great grandmother of Eitan and Nava Fenton, and Wesley Jarosz. Dear sister of Brenda (Mike) Tartaglia. Lovingly remembered by nieces Michele (Phil) Caccamise and Suzanne (Kevin) Dunlap, great nieces and nephew Sienna Caccamise, Kaia and Pierce Dunlap. Treasured sister-in-law of Peg (Ron) Muto.

Born Carol Louise Betts, in Hornell, NY on October 19, 1937 to Charles Henry Betts and Jennie Olson Betts. She married her devoted husband of 63 years on April 11, 1958 and raised her three children as a homemaker. She then found her passion as a doctor's assistant for over 25 years. She volunteered for several charities, including the TWIGS at Rochester General Hospital, and was active in many church functions.

Carol was best known for her infectious laughter and her sense of humor. She was also an excellent cook, always bringing a container-of-goodness to family and friends. Carol enjoyed gardening, playing all kinds of games, and collecting ceramic shoes. She especially loved travel, taking countless group bus trips with her husband and friends over the years. They both were avid supporters of the theater and maintained memberships with Geva and the Rochester Theater League for over 15 years

Her family will receive friends Friday, September 17, 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Saturday, September 18, 9:30 am at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish at Annunciation Church, (1754 Norton Street) for her funeral mass with Father Bob Werth officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
