I'm so grateful to have known Lindsey, and thankful for all the family and friends she had. I got to know Lindsey more in her last three weeks than I had in many years. We spoke often when she was in the the hospital. She would respond with 'indeedy' or 'thank you' even if she didn't feel like talking. I wanted her to hear how much she was respected by family and friends and for her to feel our presence in her passing. I am grateful the last night a nurse held the phone by her ear, so I could tell her that all the families were close to her and that we loved her dearly. Thank you Lindsey for letting me be a part of your life. Sally Reber

I became acquainted with Lindsey at the Mount Holyoke Club gatherings for alums of the Genesee Valley, and I was grateful that she came forward to become my successor as the local contact for the GVMHC when I stepped down from this role. I was sorry to learn of her passing and I would like to send my sincere condolences to her family and friends who will miss her presence in their lives. Sue Bonafini

Liz, the video wonderfully shows the close love shared in your family. How Lindsey must have cherished so many family moments through the years. The Class of 1963 will remember her in our quarterly column, on our website and during reunion when we will share a memorial service for her and for her close friend, Karen Torgenson Randoph who passed away within days of Lindsey. Our hearts will miss Lindsey and Kitty. Alice Andrus
