Irondequoit: Passed away peacefully after a very long heart illness, Friday, October 8, 2021 at age 80. Predeceased by her parents, Richard Chambers and Emilie Schuele. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Dick Nerwin; sons, Richard James, Michael Thomas (Terri); grandchildren, Glenn (Nica) Runyan, Shawna Runyan; great-grandson, Ryker; brother-in-law, Hubert (Susan); sister-in-law, Heidi (Michael) Bonneau; nieces, nephews and life long special friends, Barbara Ernst, Beverly Kress and Janet Hernon. The family wishes to thank Drs Michael D. Nazar, Sarah G. Taylor and Scott C. Feitell for their wonderful and compassionate care. Mary was a 1959 graduate of West High School and a 1963 graduate of the University of Rochester. She loved to read, was kind hearted, generous and always upbeat. She traveled extensively through Europe, the United Kingdom and the Far East. For over 50 years, Mary enjoyed the time spent with her Eileen Drive friends at their monthly Coffee Club.

Her family will receive friends Thursday, October 14, 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where a prayer service will follow at 7:00 pm. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Humane Society At Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
