Obituary of Leigh Andrews

Leigh Mary Andrews left this earth to sing with the Angels on September 12, 2021 at the age of 75. She is pre-deceased by her parents and leaves behind many Loving friends.

Leigh was extremely intelligent, humorous, quick witted and a fabulous friend to all who knew her. She was a wonderful chef and owned a food truck in Rochester before moving to North Carolina, where she owned two restaurants, Soup or Natural and The Chambers. Leigh was very involved in many Sweet Adeline Choruses and quartet where she was an amazing Bass. She had an award-winning quartet called JAZZmania in North Carolina. Even when her Alzheimer's progressed, she could still be heard humming her way around Friendship 1 West at Monroe Community Hospital.

Thank you to all the great people that took such great care of Leigh for the past 7 years at Friendship 1 West. An extra special THANK YOU to Yared for the Love, Respect, Friendship that you showed to her from the very first day she arrived. She had a special connection with you!
