We lived on the same street. We went to the same schools. We were in the same class. We enlisted in the Marine Corps together. Ken was my best friend. Semper Fi.

Norma and family,
We were so shocked and saddened to hear about Ken. He was a great person. Admired by many. He had a lot of years of hardships and we always shook our heads and admired him for that. -- Bob & Kathy Beabout

What a treasure to have been part of Ken's apheresis healthcare team at the Wilmot Cancer Center. We all had veins named after us, and of course, he would always make sure he helped us with our job. However, it wasn't really a job at all. Ken blessed us with his feisty spirit, kind gestures of bringing in holiday gifts, and always plenty of Ridge Donuts with each visit. We will miss him dearly. Our condolences to your family. He was a good heart, and we are better for knowing him.

Norma and Family. So sad and so shocked to hear of Ken's passing. Your comments of the "Moon" trophy bring great memories. The "impossibly large 4 foot trophy" is now at the Doran's residence. Ken's name and memories live on, especially today, Pearl Harbor Day when the golfers would meet for their annual lunch. May God Bless you All and let perpetual light shine upon him; may Ken rest in peace.

I’m so sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. I think of him often and the good times we had during his treatment. I remember on one of my first days in apheresis the machine was alarming. Ken educated me on which part of the machine I needed to adjust. It was a bonding moment. I enjoyed our friendship and looked forward to his appointments. I still refer to one of his favorite IV spots as the “Kendell vein”. My privilege having known him. Deepest sympathy to all of his family.

Dear Norma & family,
I was shocked this morning to read of Ken's passing. He was a lovely person...I got to know him when he joined our golf league and it was one of the best additions we could have had. He was a complete "class act"; low key, modest and I never heard him utter a bad word about anyone. I'm sorry I won't be able to make his service...I have my own problems as my resident is the Friendly Home (a nursing home).
Ken has been an upbeat guy and one I respect greatly. Knowing him has been a bright part of my life. My heart goes out to you as you have to deal with this loss. I didn't get to know your family, but I'm sure they have had a great example of a well rounded and loving person to emulate.
Peace & love go out to you & your family,
Bob Sutliff
