Obituary of David Leo Gramlich

Gramlich, David Leo of Rochester passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Emily (Mull) Gramlich, daughter, Ann Head and brother, Roger Gramlich. Dave is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jean M. (Heyer) Gramlich, children, Karen (Timothy) Maguire, Robert (Marylee) Gramlich, John (Diane) Gramlich, Jim (Dina) Gramlich, Kate (Adam) Gramlich-Sinesiou, son-in-law, Eric Head and brother, Bruce Gramlich. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Dave was a gentleman and a gentle man. He was a lifelong resident of Irondequoit and a Navy Veteran who served his country with pride. He was a devout Christian who lived his faith. In his spare time, Dave enjoyed fishing and wood carving but most importantly he cherished time spent with his loving wife, family and friends.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at Christ the King Church on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11AM. All guest will be required to wear a mask. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Golisano Childrens Hospital in honor of Dave's grandaughter Avrie.
