Obituary of David G. Kennard

David G Kennard 7/1/62 - 3/15/22 It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected, sudden, and quite frankly unbelievable passing of David Kennard. He is a legend, a master carpenter, the smartest man we've ever met, the "rock" of our family, gentle and kind with a sense of humor that could put one in tears. A devoted and loyal husband, dad, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed and cherished by all who knew him.Dave is survived by his soul mate, his wife of 28 years, Jennifer Kennard; his son and best buddy, Benjamin Kennard; his loving sister, Debra Kennard; his right-hand man, Adam DeSalvo; mother & father in law, Richard & Kathleen Zakrzewski; sister in law Deb Zakrzewski, father, Gerald Kennard and countless friends and associates. Predeceased by his mother, Barbara Kennard and sister, Susan Kennard.Dave worked as an independent contractor for over 35 years, working as installer for Lowes for the past 20 years and passed away remodeling a kitchen. Dave loves hunting, snacks, the outdoors, cooking dinner with his wife, holidays and he was all about spending all of his spare time with his loved ones. He despised paperwork and the abundance of it! Dave was always "Loaded for Bear" whatever that means.Dave's memorial service will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 4-7 pm at Paul Harris Funeral Home, 570 Kings Highway South, Rochester, New York 14617.
