I’m so very sorry to not be there. My thoughts are with you especially as I watched the video homage. My cousin Michael was an exceptional guy. Not many families are so blessed. It was always very obvious that his world revolved around his three girls. He sure spread joy and laughter everywhere but also a calm quiet reserve of understanding. I read somewhere that no one really dies as long as one person remains that remembers him. That hit a nerve with me because my grandkids know all about my beloved grandmother and I guess that means she is here and a part of us still. That beautiful bunch of grandkids will keep him and share him with their children for a long, long time. All of you must have extraordinary memories. Stay strong. I’ll be adding my prayers to yours. Much love, Sharon and Jack

Dearest Pat, Lisa and Amy
My heart is broken again with the passing of Mike. I can only hope he and my Mike are in heaven having fun with their humor and pranks. They loved each other as cousins and best friends. I will always remember our times together and the fun we had. Michael was a wonderful compassionate and loving man and his family was everything to him.
As we all grieve, my wish is that you are comforted by your memories and know that you are surrounded by love.

Pat, Lisa, Amy, and Family,
Judy and I were so sorry to read of Mike's passing. Our whole family will never forget all your kindnesses to us when our son, Mark, was sick. Mike was always able to make him laugh, and you all showed us such caring and compassion during those years.
Mike lit up the world with his smile and his humor, and he will be greatly missed.
Our love and sincere condolences to you each

Pat, Lisa and Amy,
I will never forget the bond my father had with Mike. All those vacations we spent together, and the memories we made together made a lasting impact on my sisters and I. Mike was a man with a heart of gold, we always marveled at the way he could strike up a conversation with a complete stranger. Mike loved his family, it was his greatest achievement. When my father died, Mike and I had several conversations. While we grieved together, Mike always had the ability to to pivot to humor, recounting memories of the pranks Mike and my dad played on each other. I like to think Mike and dad are up to no good in the hereafter. I will miss him greatly.
I love you all,
Cousin Michael

I am crying reading this sad news and can only say, I was lucky to have an “Uncle Mike” who meant so much to me. He found time for me and my brother even though truth be told he was a cousin to my mom. We’ve lost a great man, dad, husband and friend for sure… but he set the standard for us to follow. Love you Uncle Mike…Joe Dichairo.
