Edward J. Dziubaty

Webster - Friday April 22 at the age of 99. He is survived by his children Barbara (Mike) Hourihan and Jim Dziubaty; grandchildren Katie (Matt) Hertling and Chris Hourihan; great-grandaughter Sydney Hertling. Preceding him in death was his wife Jeanette Dziubaty and his daughter Diane DeRosa.

A veteran of World War II, Ed served as a Staff Seargent with the 813th Bombardment Squadron of the Army Air Corp. He was awarded six Bronze Stars and an Air Medal with one Bronze Cluster.

Ed was born on March 26, 1923 in Buffalo, New York to Joseph and Frances Dziubaty. He spent his formative years growing up in Rochester, New York. Ed graduated from Edison Tech High School. He joined Eastman Kodak Company following his discharge from the military and retired after 38 years of service in 1982.

Ed lived in Webster for more than forty-years. He will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing and hunting.

His battle with serious medical issues in recent months showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile.
