To the family of Irene Warner, my name is pastor Doug Hess. I got my call into vocational ministry late in life and years after I left Seneca UMC, where I met Irene and Philip. Irene (and Philip) were loving caring disciples of Jesus and they blessed me over the many years we knew each other. After I was ordaned, Philip and Irene and then later just Irene would send me a check around Christmas with instructions to use towards any ministry I was aware of that could use the help. I always wrote back and told them what it went towards. I am sorry I missed her funeral but wanted to let you know that I thought the world of Irene and am sure she was greeted at the Gates of Heaven with a "Well done, good and faithful servant!"
